    Travel booster

We are flying to Florida in a month. My youngest 3 kids are all in boosters. The older boys are in LBB and the youngest kiddo is in a HBB. The kids will be 10, 10 and 8 at the time of travel. We will be renting a Nissan Armada (or "comparable") and driving from Miami to Key West. I'm not worried...

    Would Incognito be the best?

DS's will be 10 in May. They are both in low back boosters. One of them is TINY and at only 47lbs will be in a booster for many years to come, I'm sure. The other one is of average height, though he seems SO tall compared to his twin, and about 70lbs. We just got a 2011 Ford F250 crew cab, so no...

    Skinny HBB

DD is 6.5. I broke her FR90 trying to get the recline mechanism to disengage. :( At 6.5, I am OK with her moving to a HBB f/t. She will be driver side in a 2011 Traverse, with a bench. Latch is available, however, it is very narrow to the seat belt stalk, and buckling everything we have just...

    Britax Parkway measurements

I looked on the database, but didn't find what I needed. What are the dimensions at the back of the base of a new Parkway SG or SGL? Posted via Mobile Device

    5.5yrs old and still can't buckle/unbuckle??

My dd is 5.5yrs and in a FR90 and is still unable to buckle or unbuckle herself. I have never had to "teach" my kids....I was always fighting to get them to stop! And now I have one with ZERO interest in learning....and quite frankly, it's driving me bonkers!!! The only part she can help with is...

    Harmony Defender

I bought this for a back up seat for my 4.5yr old DD to use in my 17yr olds Xterra for the very rare times he takes her to school and I have to say, for $100, I am impressed!

    Car Shopping

We are going car shopping for our 17yr old. There may be times he drives the kids to school, so I need to have a game plan for putting seats in his future car. We are looking at: Jeep Liberty (2005ish), Nissan Xterra (2000-2003), and Ford Escape (2002-2005). The Xterra (and maybe the Escape...

What does your 7yr old ride in?

Just curious what 7yr olds are riding in? Does size influence your choice?

    Tall skinny booster

Patrick will be 7 next month. He is crurrently in a Graco Affix on the tallest setting. I don't know if I am ready for him to be in a NBB f/t. There are times I do a 3 across and the Affix barely fits. Are there any skinny boosters that are taller? It absolutely can not be even 1/4" wider.

    Who goes in the front?

We have a temporary situation. Car is a 2008 Cobalt, 2 door. Kids are almost 7yr old twins in HBB and 4.5yr old in FR90. Can't fit all 3 in the back. Somebody has to be in the front. This will be 2 days of going to school only, about 8 miles away. Mostly dirt roads, not that that truly matters!

    Borrowing latch in center?

What vehicles allow this? I have a friend with an F150 and is wanting to know if she can use LATCH in the center? I can't find anything online. I had installed it in the center with seat belt for her over a year ago, and now she is reinstalling at a more upright angle and is struggling to get an...

    Faulty seat belt in Traverse?

I have a 2011 Traverse with a middle row bench. If I fold down my 2nd row, then lift it back up, the middle seat belt locks and you can't get it to release rendering that seating location useless. It is currently locked and pulling very tight against the seat. I have been unsuccessful at getting...

    Another FR90 question

I can't adjust the headrest with the seat installed. Deal with it or contact Britax?

    My kid has no neck!!

My 4yr 4mo DD recently got a FR90 which she looooves. However, if I put the harness "at or above" her shoulders, the head wings are high. If I put the wings where they should be, the harness is below her shoulders. Will she ever grow a neck and fit in it right??

    Evenflo Embrace Select

At work (residential drug and alcohol rehab), we had 2 expiring SnugRides, so I got approval to dispose of them and get a new seat. I didn't have time to order one as we have a resident due any day. The only seat with a front adjust that they had at our local WM was the Evenflo Embrace Select...

    Wild Animals!

Next week, I will have a "wild animal" in my car. I thought about saving it for a Christmas present, but I just don't think I can wait that long. LOL Now to sell the RA so I don't get in trouble! LOL

    Britax Pioneer vs Frontier 90

DD is 4yrs 3mo and roughly 37lbs and short (still has 1 slot to go on her RA50). I tend to harness to 6 then begin booster training. Since she is nearing the weight limit to use the Pioneer/FR with Latch, a seat belt install would be in the very near future. I loved LBP install with our FR85, so...

    Grrrr....mice!

I went to install our FR85 for DD. It's been in the gararge, so I tipped it upside down and shook it to make sure no spiders were hiding in it....and had foam fall out. I pulled the cover up and the foam is in tiny pieces and the harness is frayed. Damn mice! For what the cost of a new...

    Oobr question

For those of you that have an Oobr and use it LATCHED, what kind of seat belts due you have? I have a 2011 Traverse with rigid buckle stalks in the seating positions with LATCH. The Oobr is so wide that there is NO WAY my kids will ever be able to buckle on their own and it's a ROYAL PITA for...

    DOM on parts?

Do they put anything on the extra 'parts' so you know which goes to which? I'm thinking of selling my RXT and I'm not sure which base goes to it vs the XTSL. Are they identical? Is there a way to tell which is which?
